About Us

Ohio Vision Therapy opened in January 2023. We are a division of Vision Professionals, with our primary location in Worthington Hills, Ohio. 

We provide vision therapy services for all ages including binocular vision disorders, learning disorders, neuro-rehabilitation, sports therapy, music therapy, and amblyopia. Located in central Ohio, we serve those all across greater Columbus. 

A comprehensive eye examination is first recommended to ensure that proper glasses and/or contact lenses are prescribed if needed and to rule out any ocular disease. 

Next schedule a sensorimotor examination with one of our vision development and rehabilitation optometrists to assess your binocular vision performance and deficiencies. 

An individualized therapy program will be created based on your visual needs and goals.

In our one-on-one vision therapy sessions we use state of the art techniques including prism and lens therapy, computer-based therapy, virtual reality therapy, visual perception therapy, and MFBF amblyopia therapy. Depending on your needs, we can incorporate primitive reflex and gross motor control, laterality and directionality training, grapho-motor skills, and auditory-visual integration.

Our doctors can coordinate with other specialists such as occupational therapy, speech therapy, neuropyschology, and ophthalmology to provide complete comprehensive care based on your needs. We can also communicate with your school or workplace to provide recommended accommodations and documentation for IEP/504 plans.  

Your progress throughout the vision therapy program will be closely monitored and assessed. Once you have met your visual goals, you and your doctor will create a graduation and maintenance plan to preserve your new visual skills.
